Watch The Throne

The highly anticipated album that was set to originally drop in January is finally ready for take off. I have already put in my itunes pre-order and you can too. Itunes and Best Buy have exclusive perks to this album. So much so that independent retailers are begging for the duo to reconsider and give everyone the same amount of access. Watch The Throne is set to hit stores August 8th and at the same time tickets go on sale for the 27 city tour. Tour kicks off in Detroit. I have never missed a Jay-Z show and I certainly am not gonna miss this one. I will be posting pictures!!! Also featured on the album is the beautiful Beyonce`, Frank Ocean, and Mr. Hudson.

Chris Brown Does It Again~

On The Today Show yesterday Chris Brown put on a phenomenal record breaking performance. His die hard fans set up their chairs and tents 3 days early. There was an estimated 18,000 fans in the plaza for this performance. He performed his #1 Single "She Ain't You". He looked delicious and he sound like a sweet serenity.

~As you can tell I wish I was in the 18,000 too!!! lol!!!

Shaquille O'neal...Gangsta???

Looks like Shaq Diesel is involved in some Soprano type behavior. Former friend Robert Ross is suing Shaq. Shaq supposedly kidnapped Ross and released him in exchange for sex tapes of himself amd other women while still married to Shaunie O'neal. Also in his reports Ross says, Shaquille O'neal hired him to kill a woman he impregnated, and cohersed into having an abortion along with 2 others.

~Now one things for sure he can't play good cop/ bad cop...pick a side maaaannnn!!!

Amber Rose or Amber Oh Nooo~

After seeing the images I just did I only have room for one story today. I was checking out some hot stuff to bring to you today and I run into some very xxx-rated images of Amber Rose. These pics are like hardcore porn. Now all though she was doing porn for awhile I thought she was changing her image. Kevin Hart hosts the star studded event. There will be performances from A. Keys, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jill Scott, and Beyonce to name a few. Chris Brown is favored to take a few. I know I am lokking forward to seeing Jill's new look and I am sure it will be a laugh to see Solange sporting the Dookie braids!!! BET Awards air tomorrow night at 8pm (est)

Tru Blood Season 4~

The time has come to grab our popcorn and gear up for Sookie, Bill, Eric, Tara, Lafayette, and Jason!!! Season 4 premiers on Sunday 9p(est). I was able to catch a sneak peek on http://www.hbo.com/. Venus seems to be getting a little slack about her latest outfit. I think it doesn't look that bad. Reminds me of a greek goddess style. It looks way better then the nude spanks that you may mistake for a naked butt, but I ain't the one to gossip so you ain't heard that from me...Lol!! You be the judge!!

Ms. Jill Scott is back and in full blast. She just recently lost 50lbs and she says, "This is the smallest I've been in 20 years." She looks amazing and she has a new album on the shelves entitled The Light of The Sun. It is classic Jill, and you would be insane not to buy a copy!

I posted a couple weeks ago that I caught the Diddy Dirty Money Coming Home Tour. I was blessed enough to get a photo opt with the man himself. He was taller than I thought, smelled delicious, and gave me the warmest hug. Here we are!!!!

Baby Boom~
It seems like Mariah and Nick have been expecting for a whole year!!! Finally the twins are here. Saturday night Mariah gave birth to two 5lbs babies. The girl was first and not far behind her, was her little brother. The lovely couple have not yet posted their names. As soon as I know, you'll now!!

Anytime I get to mention this man I get all excited! Last week Fabolous released the highly anticipated Soul Tape. The title for this album was picked from a group of titles that fans posted on Twitter. Fab shared a link where you could go to vote for the title you liked best. The album is absolute fire. Dirty Friday

~It's That Dirty Money

Friday night ended with a phenomenal close. Diddy Dirty Money was in town for a concert at Motor City Casino's Sound Board Theatre. I attended the show VIP of course. The night began with a Meet & Greet. It was a little unorganized. I assumed that Dawn and Kalenna would be present also, but I did get my picture with Diddy. All things aside I thought he was gonna be a little shorter. He smelled great and his hug was warm and sincere. After that my girlfriends and I headed straight to the stage to watch the show. Tyga opened and Lloyd followed. Both performances where awesome. Once Diddy jump onto the stage "literally" I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Dawn and Kalenna are an exotic breath of fresh air, and once you combine Diddy in the mix...it's like fresh juices and berries!!! Here''s some video and photos!!!

Society Standards

~Are You Not Good Enough? I told you guys last week that I had recently applied to be a WRIF Rock Girl. The update is that I was not selected. I checked out the website and the Top 32 girls are as followed; 31 Caucasians, and 1 African American. Here are all the things that look bad with these picks: 1. It looks like they just picked a black girl to not appear racist 2. The black girls bio says she's from Detroit/Southgate. This is not a real city name 3. Then they must have not noticed that plus sizes are included in 2011 4. They all have NO EXPERIENCE in radio broadcasting The reason for this post is that I have a minimum of 2yrs experience and I completely rocked that interview. The reason I wasn't selected could be numerous. It looks to me that I wasn't picked because, I am a plus size woman of African American decent, and they may have thought since these are my traits I do not know my Rock Music. The reality of it all is that my dad plays hockey, my mother does face painting, my sister's in fashion, and my friend is borderline Gothic. I party in Vegas, favorite movie list includes Top Gun, favorite all time song lists includes Journey, favorite guitarists of all time is Slash. Now who's the Rock Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hollywood Glamour

The industry takes another hit. Elizabeth Taylor (79) dies in a Los Angeles hospital today from congestive heart. . Taylor blessed us with what I call "Hollywood Glamour" which included beauty, grace, and sophistication. Taylor's son comments that his mother was an extraordinary whom lived life to it's fullest. Elizabeth Taylor featured in an array of films, among the top was Cleopatra. Taylor was also a great humanitarian.

Breaking News~
Nate Dogg has gone home!!! The 41 year old rapper/r&b hook guru, died March 15th in Long Beach, California. Nathaniel Hale has been dealing with his health for the pass three years. He suffered a stroke in 2007 and again in 2008. His 2008 health scare left him partially paralyzed on the left side of his body and memory loss. Nate had fully regained his memory and was making significant progress in his recovery. It's reported that Nate's family where shocked of the news.

Nate Dogg is best known for his vocals. West Coast Rappers had begun to make it a point to have a track with Nate Dogg singing the hook. The famous hook in his career by far is; Regulators by Warren G. Nate Dogg also appeared on Dr. Dre's The Chronic Album, and Ludacris' 2002 Area Codes where they were nominated for BestRap/Song Collaboration.

How Much Is Too Much~
Not only is Jay-z reportedly in what I like to call a famous cult, but now they have him joining the church of scientology. It has been reported that Jay-Z and his lovely wife Beyonce my have teamed up with Will and Jada to join their church. The next thing that we'll be hearing about is that they are all swinging!!

Out With The Old, In With The New~

Our favorite rapper/actor just celebrated his birthday Sunday at The Redbury Hotel in Hollywood. Looks to me that he has another lady in his sights. Actress Meagan Good was spotted with the birthday boy and there was no Serena in the house.

Baby Boom~

Last week Mariah Carey (41) and Nick Cannon (31) had their over the top Baby Shower. The Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills was decked out with balloons and life size animals to say the least. Mariah wore Roberto Cavalli and Nick ran around snapping pictures of everyone. American Idol's Randy Jackson was in attendance along with other friends and family.

I have decided to detour slightly from the celebrities for tonight. Women vs Men seem like a better topic for the mood I am in.

Beyond Years~
Are sweet little Raven is all grown up now. I know we are all excited about Raven's weight loss, but I'm not sure if the weight loss and hair cut are doing her any justice. I mean she looks good, but she also looks old.

~Maybe she should lose the ole' natural and go back to the long and luscious.

Bobbi Kris just turned 18 yrs old and she is not taking any crap. Reportedly Bobbi Kris attacked Whitney with a razor. She and her mother were fighting because she no longer wants to live with her. She experienced a lot of things as an adolescent and now she's turned up her party meter. She's been into it all: Drugs, Alcohol, and Sex Tapes!!!

~Somebody better put a leash on this girl!!

As if reality couldn't go any further. We are now subject to rapper's and their main squeezes or whatever you wanna call them. The real world call's them babymama's, but for some reason the "industry" wants to label them girlfriends. I don'y really caare about the girl's that are sleeping with the rappers. Especially not enough to watch a TV series. I guess one day we'll get back to TV programs and only hear about skeeza's on the internet!!!

Starting with All Star Weekend 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Everyone who's anyone was in LA this weekend. Friday started real smooth with Kevin Hart's Laugh at My Pain Comedy Show. All I can say about that is they were taping so make sure you get your DVD copy. In attendance Shaquille O'Neal, Marlon Wayans, Boris & Nicole, Eric LaSalle, and Keri Hilson. It was live at The Nokia Center and it was sold-out both nights.

February 19th, 2011
It's off to the Beverly Center Mall where we dined at the magnificent Grand Lux Cafe. I ordered the Pomegrante Margarita and the Salmon Picatta w/ lemon butter sauce. We went inside the mall where Terrance Jay of 106 and Park was interviewing and showing the lastest sneakers. Later that night the ladies and I got dolled up and hit the Diddy party at The Highlands in Hollywood. Very top notch layout with multiple rooms and red carpet photography.

February 20th, 2011

Up early taking a trip to Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles and then out to Fox Hills Westfield Mall. The NBA festivities were fun and free. We did a little shopping and then got ready for the VIP Party hosted by Fabolous at The Kress Nightclub in Hollywood. Where I caught a glimpse of Kenyon Martin, Terrell Owens, Chopper, Poprah, and finally Fabolous!!!!!
