Baby Boom~

Alicia Keys was the first and now "Neyo"! I am waiting for the next person, because you know that everything comes in threes. Neyo who is 30 and working on his next album Libra Scale set to release September 21 is excited about his first child in January. Before performing at the ASCAP Awards friday night he had to take a quick flight back to Atlanta so he wouldn't miss his girlfriends first ultrasound appointment. The sex was undetermined.

~Wow… We thought that girlfriend thing was just a front. Guess he’s playing the straight role to the fullest now.

Groupie Pretender~

Fat Joe born Joseph Cartagena was questioned Monday by the Wisconsin police after a woman accused the rapper and his entourage of sexual assault. Fat Joe is gearing up for the summer release of his forthcoming album The Darkside Vol. 1.

His attorney released an update on these allegations:

"Joseph Cartagena, known as Fat Joe, and others have been officially cleared by the Madison Wisconsin Police Department of any wrong doing. Fat Joe had no contact with, and never spoke to his accuser. He was questioned for a few minutes at his hotel room and was never detained by the police.Making a false claim of a sexual nature in order to extort money is one of the most horrific accusations because it not only tarnishes reputations but has the potential to destroy families. Mr. Cartagena whole heartedly thanks his family, friends, and fans for their continued support, loyalty, and words of encouragement throughout this ordeal."

I've been hearing about these dudes around town known as Walton Boy Entertainment. I checked them out and "They spitting bars!!" The leader of the pack Yung B just dropped a new album entitled All or Nothing. The album features his running mate Frank. Frank is hot too. I really like how he raps in third person..lol!!! I can't tag them as the regular Detroit rappers. You now how you can tell a Detroit song as soon as you hear it! You won't know their city until they say it. The have a very unique style and flow. That's Not Yours

Dr. Dre releases a statement about his upcoming single that was leaked over the web. Under Pressure was set to release as his first single from Detox. Dre states, "The leaked song is incomplete, and when I finish it you will hear from me" Dre has been working on Detox for the better half of a decade and we are anxious. I'm sure with all his personal things like the passing of his oldest son played a roll in the extended time.

Straight to the Point

Miss Lauryn Hill has decided to unlock and straighten her hair. At a recent appearance this is how she came out. The crowd was in an uproar to say the least. We've seen the locks, the twists, and the afro. I like the straight though. If she put some heat on it she'll be on and popping.

The $50,000 Girl~

Kelis' "Fleshtone" album cover has been revealed, and it's nothing if not compelling. It has a very futuristic Lady GaGa feel. Kelis is not only about to drop another album, but she is also dropping jaws. Kelis hit her ex-hubby Nas up for a lot of loot in there last hearing. I guess she's hoping to be able to sit on that money and sell some records. Kelis' "Fleshtone" is out July 6.

Mister... Protesting~
Danny Glover was recently arrested in Maryland. After armed police cracked down on a massive protest rally. Glover, along with 11 other people was taken into custody outside of the headquarters of Sodexo Inc. a french food services and facilities management corporation. The company is in the hot seat for deplorable work conditions and low wages. Sodexo says, "This is just a publicity stunt from a rival business looking to takeover".

The King is Back~

T.I is reportedly working on a new album. The album is said to be named "F**k a Mixtape". They are not giving out many details, but he's working with DJ Drama and Just Blaze. This should be a nice intro to his freedom.

Now a lot of people don't care much for Terrence Jay. I must say that I was a little sickened by his make out session with Khloe Kardashian, but hey...however you wanna do it!! He celebrated his birthday in a New York nightclub called Amnesia. He was joined by a array of guest. The line up: Rocsi, Trey Songz, that guy from The Game, and Randy Jackson...to name a few.

Diva-Not~

Ms. Rowland was acting up on a recent trip to Sydney. Accompanied by her entourage, the ex-Destiny's Child member were not following the standards on the plane...using cellphones and sitting in others seats. They felt as though they where being treated unfairly.

Lady Gaga just keeps hitting us with extraordinary personaility. Her latest bomb was asking Boy George to sign her va-jay-jay. Although Sir George was flattered he opted to just autograph a hat. He also said, "I remember being that girl, surrounded by a circus".

Thanks to my friends over at media takeout I have the skinny on our newly loved housewives. Looks like Atlanta Housewives are lining up a couple of new faces. One is Cynthia Bailey very well known model. The other is a lady named Phaedra Parks, an Atlanta attorney. It has not been released who will be leaving, but it will go down on camera.

~I hope it's not Ne Ne Leakes. What is Housewives without Ne Ne??

Usher Raymond is always so sexy. His album is sexy. Now he veered away from his sexiness after tying the knot and Here I Stand sounded as though it was all about the wife. Raymond vs. Raymond has the swag that we expect from Usher, so bravo!!!

A Radio Farewell~

Dick Purtan (born July 11 as Paul Richard Purtan) Radio Hall of Fame and morning radio show host on Oldies 104.3 serving the Detroit, Michigan radio market. On the morning of February 11, 2010, Purtan announced his retirement effective March 26, 2010. After 45 years in broadcasting, last night Purtan signed off and it was very emotional for the Purtan family. Purtan says, "During his downtime he plans to start a webpage to keep in touch with his fans and also write a book".

Cooley High Alumni Rally~

Along with a long list of school closings Cooley has made the list. They will not go out without something to say. They are asking that all Cooley alumni and students come out for a rally to save the school. The rally will be held on Monday March 20th and Tuesday March 30th at 5:00p. 50 Cent's Hall of Shame

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is being sued. 50 cent has this alter ego named Pimpin' Curly and he is blaming Pimpin' Curly for the release of the sextape that involved Rick Ross's babymom. Lastonia Leviston is suing 50 Cent for mental anguish. 50 feels that in order to say someone has done you mental harm, you can't feature yourself on pamphlets stating you are available. He also feels that if you are so mentally distraught then you should also be suing your baby's dad for calling you a "CALL GIRL" in his music.

~I always think the ex-girl bashing can get messy!!!!

I probably should just say "Jailbird". Not only is Gucci comfortable in jail since he's been there before. He is also excited that he had an album release party he couldn't attend, and he has already written 50 to 60 songs. I wonder what is his inspiration?

New on the multitasking rappers list is the Chicago native Ludacris. Recently Ludacris was featured on the Martha Stewart Show and his goodie bag goes on and on. With Rap at the top of the list, the newest addition to his adventure is cognac. Conjour Cognac is what Luda is labeling his new brand. It will be available worldwide soon...









Rehab~

Now I must say that there's always a white lining to the darkest of pictures. Dmx was just arrested and now someone is reaching out to help him. Celebrity Rehab is in pursuit of the rapper. Here's the catch, they are trying to get him a "Get out of Jail Free Pass". In order for X to access the priviledge he must agree to do the show. Not a chocolate cake...but better than saltines.

Down Time Starts Now~

Monday March 8, 2010 marks the official clock for Lil' Wayne's jail bit. He turned himself in after clearing up all his dental care and misc. postponements. Wayne says that he was kind of getting restless with the up and down. His ex-wife Toya Johnson was struggling with preparing their 11 year daughter Reginae for the transition. Wayne didn't want his daughter to see him in cuffs, so he just told Toya to keep her phone on so he can contact her.

Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes' eldest son Bryson Brant got LOCKED UP on Sunday. Driving in Atlanta he was pulled over by police for unspecified reasons. When the cop did a quick check and found that he had unpaid tickets and had been issued a warrant for his arrest. When the police took him into custody he had narcotics on him, so they hit him with another charge. In all Bryson ended up getting 2 misdemeanors, and had to spend 3 days in jail before it got all cleared up.

Karrine "Superhead" Steffans and her husband, actor Darius McCreary (Eddie Winslow) have decided to divorce.The couple had been dating on-and-off for 3 years, but actually wed just a year ago. What happened you ask. Well sources say that Karrine is a "compulsive liar" who lied about everything and even "faked a pregnancy. Karrine subsequently filed for divorce. She and Darius have NO children together.

Bow Wow hits the town celebrating his 23rd birthday in Hotlanta. The Cincinnati native hit the streets of A-T-L stop at the hotspot Gold Room. He was accompanied by everyone's favorite lady Angela Simmons. Now that is a surprise to me Ang is such a classy lady, sir Bow Wow must be a gentleman in disguise. Everytime I see him he's looking really young and playing around alot. Let's replace those adjectives with fresh and fun. Good Luck you two.

Just last month, Jay-Z remarked that he hadn’t been to the White House yet – a problem he quickly remedied on Wednesday.
The hip-hop icon joined wife Beyonce in an impromptu trip to the White House, where they were photographed smiling at the head of a boardroom table. In Jay’s entourage during his visit to the White House was fellow musician Trey Songz, who Tweeted about his Presidential moment.
“Had the honor of meeting Barack Obama today - Surreal - GOD bless The President and his family,” he Tweeted.

Next Tuesday marks the 13th anniversary of Notorious B.I.G’s death, an event that simultaneously cost Diddy his greatest artist, yet insured him a place in history… and this year’s anniversary will be unlike every other, because Diddy tweeted plans to take the party where he’s never taken the party before. To Brooklyn! We commend Diddy for honoring his BFF and keeping his legacy going. What we are wondering is how Biggie would feel about his buddy claiming his "King of New York" title.

I have finally got myself back up and running. My Entertainment News on FM 98 WJLB.com s off anf running and I most say it it's going well. The updated version of TB's Corner will now include exclusive stories. You will be able to read the stories before they hit the airwaves.

I always have something to say about my day job and here I go...

I have thought of a very appropriate nickname for the restaurant. Let's just call it the "Krusty Krab". Since they have all these new rules: You can't mention this...you can't mention that...in a negative way. I say," If it's wack it's wack and eventually it will be exposed.

Valentine's Day is the 2nd craziest day in the place and the people just act like the don't see all the people they had to pass to get in the door. True Story: This guy signed in at 8:00p and he was quoted 1 1/2 hours. Sooo, you know he came back to the podium at 8:12 like almost ready. I checked the time and said you still have about an hour left. He was like what, it has already been 30 mins. Once I informed him that it has only been 12 mins he looked sooooo stupid.
