When is it appropriate to be kind to your patient? Well i must say that if you did not want to deal with sick people then you need another profession. It is safe to say that the majority of the people who go to the hospital do not want to be there. They did not choose to be sick, although you did choose to take care of them so do it with a SMILE!!!

While I'm sure the N.W.A. is not the norm as the nursing profession goes, all it takes is one Nurse Ratched to ruin it for the whole lot. If I'm your patient I honestly don't want to know and I won't likely care if you've had a bad day. I want and deserve the best possible nursing care you're capable of giving, and if you're not able to provide that, do us both a favor and call in sick.
